This dictionary is constantly growing and I've put a lot of effort in to it! Please comment if you see anything important missing!
A
Alphas: the guardians of Jamaa
Achievements: Rewards from playing games a certain amount of times or achieving something special in a certain mini-game, such as winning first place
Appondale: A savannah-like land in Jamaa with a Conservation Museum, pet shop and a pool of mud
Arctic wolf: An animal you can purchase in the Diamond Shop with fur on its chest, back, tail and back of its head
Arctic fox: An animal you can purchase in the Diamond Shop with fur everywhere but its legs and torso
AJMV: a video, commonly uploaded on YouTube of AJ animals dancing and saying the lyrics to a certain song of the creator's choice
AJ: the abbreviation for Animal Jam
Art Studio: Place in Coral Canyons where you can do art-related activities and paint virtual pictures
AJHQ: Animal Jam Headquarters
Adventure: a "game" that can be multiplayer where you have to do certain quests and tasks, you can earn gems and prizes
B
Battle For The Beacon: Seasonal adventure, no certain theme for holidays
Bunnies Only Party: A party only accessible to bunnies
Bunny: Nonmember and member, sold for 1,000 gems
Bitter Sweets: A seasonal Adventure that comes around in October
Bounce House Party: A bounce house party. It's all in the name. It also has a shop with balloon items.
Bahari Bay: An underwater location in Jamaa with a clothing shop and an area to play Best Dressed, plus an entrance to the underwater Base Camp
Brady's Lab: A room in the Lost Temple of Zios, home to many activities and Brady Barr's Theater.
Basement of Secrets: An area that can be traveled to by clicking on the land in the bottom left corner of the map (if you don't get it on your first try, don't be discouraged) and home to a small shop
Best Dressed: A game that can be played on land and underwater, where you dress according to a certain theme and depending on how many votes you get determines what place you come in
Best Guess Game: A game where you can choose a side for a fact. You would choose the green side if you think the fact is true and you would choose the purple side if you think the fact is false.

Coral Canyons: A canyon in Jamaa, home to Epic Wonders, a shop, a shop where you can buy dens and The Art Studio
Clan: A group of players who roleplay according to the theme of Erin Hunter's most popular series, Warriors. The players usually are wolves and wear fox hats to look like cats, and kits (or kittens) are usually bunnies, you can find these players in Sarepia Forest usually
Club Geoz: A dance club in Jamaa Township. With enough players dancing on the dance floor, a disco ball will appear.
Cheetah: Members only in the Diamond Shop for 10 diamonds
Chamber of Knowledge: A three roomed building in the Lost Temple of Zios with a shop on the top floor and mini-books you can read in the main room, where you enter
Codes: words or phrases you type in below where you type in your username and password to log in to get promo gifts on Animal Jam like certain items and gems
Cloud Party: A party only accessible to flying animals like eagles and owls, soon to be accessible by falcons
Conservation Museum: Provides info about endangered species, is home to what seems like a hat shop
Chinese New Year Party: A party only monkeys can go to in the year of the monkey which happens every 12 years, home to a den item shop
Crystal Sands: A beachy area in Jamaa with a juice hut and aquarium
Captain Melville's Juice Hut: A place in Crystal Sands where you can make a fruit smoothie
Cheetah: A members-only animal that is sold in the Diamond Shop for 10 diamonds
Crystal Reef: An underwater place in Jamaa with a pet shop
Crocodile: A land only animal for members only that can be bought for 1,000 gems
D
Daily Spin: A wheel you spin whenever you log on to Animal Jam the first time a day where you can get diamonds, items and most commonly, gems. If you log on one day and then don't log on the next day, the next time you log on you won't get double or triple the gems, diamonds or items. If you log on two days in a row, you will get double the gems, diamonds or items and if you log on three days in a row you will get triple the gems, diamonds or items. You can only get up to triple the gems.
Den Shop: a location in Coral Canyons where you can buy both Diamond Shop dens and dens being sold for gems
Diamonds: currency that can be used in the Diamond Shop that can be used to buy certain animals that cannot be purchased with gems, certain items, dens, music and clothing (armor sets as well)
Diamond Shop: the place home to all the items that can be only bought with diamonds
Deer: A members-only animal that can be bought with gems (1,000 gems) and only goes on land
Dolphin: A members-only animal that can only go underwater and can be bought for the same price as deer
Den: A home a player lives in in Animal Jam
Deep Blue: A part of Jamaa's ocean home to an underwater den shop
Den Depot: The place in the Deep Blue where you can buy underwater-only dens
Dinner Party: A party with a shop, themed as a dinner party/restaurant
E
Eagle: A members-only animal that can be bought with 10 diamonds in the Diamond Shop, can fly and go to Cloud Party
Epic Wonders: A shop in Coral Canyons where you can buy both accessories and den items, most items are for members and are sold for more expensive prices than items in most stores
Epic Dens: Dens chosen by AJHQ, dens thought to be rather good by AJHQ
Elephant: Members only animal, can be bought for 1,000 gems
F
Friendship Party: a party that is celebrated in the month of February, basically like Animal Jam Valentine's Day, home to a shop
Fox: A members-only animal that can be bought for 1,000 gems
Flash trading: A common method of scamming, where you trade one of your valuable items for someone else's non-valuable item and you cancel the trade before they accept
Flag Shop: A shop in Sarepia Forest where you can buy flags from different countries
G
Gems: the most common currency in Jamaa, can be earned by playing games, entering codes, finding treasures and opening treasures in Adventures, and a ton more. You can use these to buy anything in shops with a stack of multicolored coins next to the price if you have enough gems
Games: More commonly known as mini games, these can be played in the Sol Arcade or other places, in some games you can earn a prize and gems, in most you only earn gems
Goat: Members only in the Diamond Shop for 10 diamonds

Horses-Only Party: a party only horses can go to, home of a furniture and clothing shop
Horse: A members-only animal that can be bought for 1,000 gems
Hack/Hacker: A hacker is someone who steals your items via Animal Jam and takes them for themselves (these guys aren't common, so don't worry), and a hack is basically the taking of someone's AJ stuff
Hot Cocoa Hut: A place located in Mt. Shiveer where you can make hot cocoa and buy clothing

Kangaroo: An animal that can be bought in the Diamond Shop for 10 diamonds
Kimbara Outback (Kimbara): A desert-like area with a medical center and furniture shop
Kani Cove: A part of Jamaa's ocean with a den item shop
Koala: A non member and member animal that can be bought for 1,000 gems
J
Jamaaliday Rescue: A seasonal Adventure with no Phantoms which you can play in December
Jamaalidays: Animal Jam Christmas, each day there is a gift from a gift calendar
Jamaa: The land that players are in, in Animal Jam
Jamaasian: example: This animal is from Jamaa, so he or she is Jamaasian. It is an adjective describing things related to Animal Jam or Jamaa
Jam-A-Gram: A letter that can be personalized and sent to other players, members have more freedom with Jam-A-Grams
Jam Mart Clothing: A place in Jamaa Township where you can buy clothing items
Jam Mart Furniture: A place in Jamaa Township where you can buy den items
Jamaa Township: The main place in Jamaa, home to many attractions and buildings
Jam Session: A rock-and-roll themed party

Lucky Party: Based off of Saint Patrick's Day, a party celebrated in March with a shop
Lucky Clovers: A seasonal Adventure that comes around in March
Lynx: A members-only animal sold in the Diamond Shop for 10 diamonds
M
Mailtime- a type of video that Animal Jam YouTubers make, where they open gifts that jammers sent them (often rare gifts) in a video
Monkey's Only Party- a party (can be accessed in Party Menu) that only monkeys can go to
Monkey: An animal that can be bought by both members and non-members for 1,000 gems
Medical Center: A building located in Kimbara Outback with a clothing shop
Marine Marvels: An underwater shop where you can buy statues in the Deep Blue
Mt. Shiveer: A mountain region in Jamaa with a hot chocolate hut
Mira: One of the guardian spirits of Jamaa
O
Octopus: A members-only animal that only goes underwater and can be bought for 1,000 gems
Outback Imports: A shop located in Kimbara Outback where you can buy furniture
Owl: A flying Diamond Shop animal for members only
P
Pets: Animals your animal can adopt and customize to their prefered preferences (LOL)
Penguins: Animals for non-members and members and can be bought for 1,000 gems, goes underwater and on land
Penguins Only Party: A party with a shop, only penguins can go to it
Play As Your Pet Party: You can literally play in the party as your pet!
Pets Only Party: You play as your animal, but have to bring a pet along with you
Paradise Party: The only party with a Journey Book page where you click on certain birds to win a prize
Panda: A non-member and member animal that can be bought for 1,000 gems
Promo gift: A gift awarded to you by AJHQ, usually for entering a code
Password: What you use to log into your AJ account along with your username
Phantoms: The "monsters" that hate all the animals of Jamaa and that we combat in Adventures

Rare Item Monday (RIM): RIM, or Rare Item Monday happens every week on Monday and in a random shop there is an item with a golden RARE label on it. These are more expensive than most items.
Royal Ridge: A shop only accessible by flying animals
Raccoon: Members only animal that can be bought for 1,000 gems
S
Scamming: Tricking a player into giving someone his or her items unfairly. To stay away from scamming, avoid trust trading, flash trading and suspicious Jammers.
Snow leopard: Members only in the Diamond Shop for 10 diamonds
Seal: Members and nonmembers, sold for 1,000 gems
Shark: Members only, sold for 1,000 gems
Sarepia Forest: A forest in Jamaa with a theater and three shops, the most common area for roleplayers
Special Delivery: A February seasonal Adventure, Valentine's Day themed
Spring Festival: Easter themed seasonal Adventure, April
Summer Carnival: A carnival in the summer where you can make cotton candy, play in a bounce house and play exclusive mini-games and with the tickets you earn from playing mini-games, items

The Lost Temple of Zios: A jungle like area in Jamaa home to a lab and the Chamber of Knowledge
Tickets: Currency used in Summer Carnival
Tiger: A non-member and member animal that can be bought for 1,000 gems
Turtle: Both non members and members can buy, underwater only for 1,000 gems

Username: The online AJ name of that player
