ALL FANFICTIONS MUST BE ANIMAL JAM RELATED and appropriate! Credit will be given to the authors, so please, when commenting or emailing, mention your username so I can give credit. If your story is NOT published, it means it either differs too much from AJ topics, isn't appropriate or both.

HOW GREELY GOT HIS RED JEWEL
(Note: This is based off of Greely's appearance in the beta days. You will no longer see him with a red jewel in his eye.)
It was a dark, mysterious night as Greely was patrolling the boundaries of Jamaa, to see if Phantoms were nearby. Armed with a sword dipped in venom, he fearlessly clawed through the undergrowth and plentiful vegetation, Soon, he came to a stop to hear some strange rustlings in a bramble bush. He lifted one paw above the ground curiously yet suspiciously and peeked through the bush. To his surprise, three Phantoms were packed into the bush. They hadn't seen the wolf Alpha yet and were looking at what seemed like a battle plan that had been sketched in dirt. The largest Phantom pointed to an X, which represented Jamaa with it's tentacle-like legs and a little spark of electricity sprouted from it. The other Phantoms nodded. Each one headed towards what seemed like the "exit" of the bush, unknowing of the Alpha ready to pounce on them. He hovered the poisonous sword above the exit so that when the Phantoms came out, they wouldn't see the weapon and the poison would drip on to them. It worked perfectly with the first two, who dissolved silently into a black and purple mist. The third, one, however, was not only the largest but the smartest. He dusted away the battle plans and looked around for a bit. He spotted Greely's glinting eyes as a little sliver of moonlight chose that second to reflect it. It noticed the wolf's hovering position and the Phantom looked above itself to see the green venom. He burst through another small hole in the bush and attacked Greely violently, sparks flying everywhere. A deep, jagged scar appeared in the left leg of Greely within seconds and the Alpha growled viciously. One of the Phantoms that had disappeared into the dark purple goo was revived when the largest one zapped a blue light at him. The revival wasn't spectacular; only a black flourish warned that there were now two phantoms attempting to kill him. The largest one made a strange symbol to the other and begin to create a dark blue orb. The other Phantom made a light green orb and suddenly, without giving time for Greely to react, they blasted the light. It combined into one. The strange aura turned red, deep, dark red, the color of blood. Greely's heart, for the first time in his entire life, filled with genuine fear; he was so terrified, so thoroughly scared. He closed his eyes, knowing he could never escape. The light touched him so softly. The transformation was not full of pain like the wolf Alpha had expected. He blinked, and opened his eyes. The Phantoms were gone. He scouted the area before bending over a small stream to inspect his wounds. He noticed the scar on his leg, however, that was the least of his worries:
His left eye had been replaced with a blood red jewel.
The color of freshly slaughtered animal.
The most horrible of gashes.
It glimmered. It shined. It sparkled. Greely heaved a sigh. Now, I suppose, the Phantoms will know not to mess with me. Their stupid little shocks of electricity are nothing. They are nothing compared to my infinite strength. he said fiercely in his head. He growled, then padded away, back to Jamaa.

HARPER'S MISTAKE
Harper, the seal Alpha, is a cunning young harp seal. Thin and slick, she can easily navigate Jamaa's ocean with ease. Even though she is an expert at the topic as of now, the Alpha had made quite the mistake when she was a young harp seal pup.
It was a bright and sunny day, just like any other. Harper had been sent on her first exciting mission as a minor Alpha. There was a strange jewel that had been located with some of the ocean patrol's equipment and they needed a skilled swimmer like Harper to see if she could find it.
Harper dove down into the waves, from the dock which was located in Crystal Sands. She took a huge gulp of air before she went down, but the Alpha knew she wouldn't need it; Harper held the record for longest time to hold your breath underwater. She splashed through the crystal-clear waves of Bahari Bay. Her tail flicked, and merely touched the cheerful seahorse statue that had stood in that same spot for generations. It wasn't a long time for Harper to reach the entrance to the Deep Blue. The dark, mysterious waters welcomed the curious seal as if whispering to her to delve in it's deep waters.
The minor Alpha burst through the entrance and gazed around at the strange plethora of wildlife. Dozens of strange species dwelled there, staring at the seal with blank, emotionless eyes. It made the Alpha shudder, but she ignored her fears and with a blast of speed, she reached the bottom, where the ocean patrol claimed the jewel was. The gem wasn't hard to spot. Next to a rusty treasure chest with navy-blue paint peeling off lay on the surface of the rocky ocean floor. The strange lava crack in the Deep Blue hadn't been there at the time, so Harper had no worries about any magma at all burning the tips of her flippers and tail. She scooped up the jewel with ease and admired it for a few minutes. It sparkled and glimmered with many shades of red.
Harper had been gazing at the gem for so long that she didn't notice the strange, bright blue aura forming around it. Slowly, she got her head out of the clouds and noticed it. Bit by bit, the aura started blinking. Each second it blinked faster, and faster, until it hurt to look at it. Harper's heart filled with fear, for she knew what would happen.
The beautiful red jewel was going to explode.
Swimming for her life, Harper dropped the gem and left it at the bottom. The blinking got faster. She rushed into Kani Cove and just after she reached the safety of the cove, a huge explosion could be heard from the depths of the Deep Blue. Harper's heart was beating fast; once the sounds had died off, she investigated. A large crack, filled with hot lava to the brim had formed. The jewel had been devoured by the lava.
Harper immediately told the 5 main Alphas; they gladly forgave her.
From that day on, the crack in the Deep Blue is still there.
